The title comes because I had the same roll of film in my camera from August 2007 to August 2008. I simply didn't shoot much film, other than disposable cameras. It's the red year because it's redscale film. The numbering is from the numbers on the film, which is in reverse order because of the way redscale film is prepared.
This is also the first roll of film on which I used a Lensbaby.
Both redscale film and the Lensbaby being common tools in lo-fi photography, the gritty look of this picture is entirely intentional.
