My father-in-law sent us a really big box of sweet corn with my brother-in-law/roommate yesterday. I can't wait to smother some of them with butter and salt to ruin all the healthfulness of the corn in favor of tastiness. These here actually aren't sweet corn, but field corn--the big money-maker in Nebraska, used for ethanol, livestock feed, and of course food for squirrels.
